Tea break raises $1300
Many of us couldn't go a few hours without a cup of tea but Gemma Iacuone decided to go without it for a whole month in memory of her Mum.
"This year marked the tenth year of my mum's passing so I wanted to do something to honour her memory.
"I love tea and so did my mum. I drink it every day, first thing in the morning, on my breaks and in the evening.
Gemma said it was a hard challenge, but she knew her mum would have been proud of her efforts in raising $1300 for Cancer Council Victoria.
"It felt really good to do some fundraising and raise awareness of the Cancer Council and all the great work they do. It made me feel proud, I thought mum would also be really proud and overwhelmed with the response I got."
